Natasha graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire in 1998 with an MA in music.

 

She performs regularly with Caramillo Quintet and the Talisman Trio.  Recent recitals have taken place at Birmingham Cathedral, Hanbury Hall and Kensington Gardens.

 

Natasha has performed with the English Symphony Orchestra and is principal oboist with the Heart of England Philharmonic Orchestra, Central England Ensemble and Spires Philharmonic. She has toured with Il Divo and Chris de Burgh, Roger Daltry, Paul Young and Alice Cooper. She has broadcast on radio and television.

 

Natasha is in great demand as an oboe teacher. Her pupils have been awarded scholarships at top music colleges, universities and music schools as well as winning High Achiever awards from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.

Jo has recently completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Orchestral Performance at the Royal College of Music in London and is delighted to have recently joined Serenata Winds.

 

She has a busy freelance orchestral schedule, performing with such groups as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia, and BBC National Orchestra of Wales.

 

Jo has a planned concerto tour of the Nina Rota Bassoon Concerto with the International Youth Orchestra Elbe-Wener, with whom she formerly played principal bassoon.

Neil Aston

clarinet

Neil studied at Lancaster University, graduating in 1993 with the Director of Music Prize. He went on to study clarinet at Birmingham Conservatoire with Janet Hilton and Colin Parr.

 

He performs regularly with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.  Formerly Neil was a member of the European Union Youth Wind Orchestra and National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain.  He has given recitals at music societies and venues throughout the country including Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, Regent Hall, Kew Music Society and Shrewsbury Music Hall.  He has also broadcast on radio and television.

 

Neil is also an accomplished conductor.  He is Music Director of the Worcester Philharmonic Orchestra and regularly conducts the Birmingham Philharmonic and Charnwood Orchestras.

Cath Cordey

Cath was born in Rossendale, Lancashire, and began playing the french horn when she was 15 and was soon a member of Lancashire Students' Symphony Orchestra. During her five years with the orchestra she toured many countries including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Hungary and the Czech Republic.

 

Graduating from Birmingham Conservatoire in 1997, Cath joined the all female brass quintet 'Brass Ellements'.  They have played throughout the UK for such events as the Townswoman's Guild's 70th Birthday Celebrations, West Midlands Police Male Voice Choir and Canoldir Male Choir concerts, also appearing on BBC's 'Children's Hospital'.

 

Cath has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Elgar Sinfonia, New English Concert Orchestra and Spires Philharmonic. She also enjoys playing for many amateur dramatic shows in the Midlands.

Text Box: Clare-Louise graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire with a Bmus(Hons) and MA.  
Since leaving the Conservatoire Clare-Louise has performed with Birmingham Royal Ballet, The Royal Shakespeare Company,  English Northern Philharmonia, Opera North, English Symphony Orchestra, Viva Sinfonia, Orchestra of the Swan and Spires Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also performed on television and radio.

Recent solo appearances include a recital as part of the Leeds International Concert season as well as concertos by Mozart, Cimarosa, Vivaldi, Sparke and Jonathan Raine.
Clare-Louise is visiting lecturer in flute at the University of Warwick, University of Coventry and University of Wolverhampton.  In December 2005 Clare-Louise was awarded honorary membership of Birmingham Conservatoire in recognition of services to music.

She has worked with artists as diverse as Judy Dench and pop star Mika.
